Join us and Mount Rogers Community Services and immerse yourself in nature's grandeur while fueling your body, mind, and soul every Friday at noon. This exciting new program is designed to encourage people to find solace in nature, no matter what their experience or comfort level. Wellness in Nature will consist of weekly programming and will revolve back and forth between topics:

Art in Nature - On the first and third Fridays of each month, we will get accustomed to nature by incorporating it into various creative outlets. Each week will feature a different craft or project that will familiarize yourself with our park and some of the fun activities you can do with the environment.

Out in Nature - On the second and fourth Fridays we will get hands-on experience immersing ourselves in nature. Enjoy an hour of exploration as we get up close to the flora and fauna that grace this beautiful park.

Meditation in Nature - on 3/29, 5/31, 8/30, 11/29 We will meet for a special 'Fifth Friday' guided meditation. Meditating outdoors can have significant benefits on your physical and mental health. Get in tune with all 5 senses and practice mindfulness with fellow nature-lovers.
