'Family Learning Adventures,' formally known as 'Arks for Parks,' is back this year at Twin Lakes State Park. Weather permitting, Adventure Packs will be available during the morning beginning at 10 a.m. These are backpacks or totes filled with things like art project supplies, board games, books, and hands-on science activities you and your family can borrow to learn about nature and the environment. They are free to check out and use during the day and overnight.

Packs are provided by 'Family Learning Adventures,' an all-volunteer organization partnered with Virginia State Parks. Contact Roger Pinholster (850-728-2121) or Allison Crews (804-307-9608) with questions. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Celebrate the planet we all call home!
