Mussels play a huge part in our watershed. A single mussel can filter more than 15 gallons of water per day. Grab a snorkel and investigate these freshwater powerhouses with us. Meet at Stock Creek Recreational Area, and we will transport you to the Clinchport boat launch. This program is suitable for ages 6 and up. Please wear closed-toe shoes and be prepared to get wet.

Registration is required since space is limited. The cost is $5 per participant. For more information and to register please call 276-940-2674.
