Come with us on a guided canoe tour of the beautiful lake at Fairy Stone State Park. Learn the history of the old iron-ore mining 'boomtown' of Fayerdale, which now lies below the surface of the lake, and the reason it is there now. 

The program cost is $15 per canoe rental or $5 to bring your own boat. Life jackets are required. Registration required and must be made in person at Fairy Stone Mercantile prior to event. Mercantile shop closes at 6 p.m. The paddle trip is for ages 4 and up; children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Boats leave at start time. Participants must arrive 15 minutes early to board canoes. Maximum participation: 12 boats (3-4 per canoe depending on size of individuals).
