You are invited to celebrate Independence Day away from the hustle and bustle and under the peaceful night skies of the park. The park's open meadows make an ideal place to view Goochland County's fireworks from a distance, especially for folks with audio sensitivities or mobility impairments. Bring your camp chairs, blankets, and snacks to get comfy to watch the fireworks from afar! 

Reservations for the park's disability-friendly viewing locations can be made in advance at no extra cost. Space is limited, so please reserve ahead or arrive early if you're able. To make a reservation at a disability-friendly viewing site, call the park office at (804) 598-7148 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily or email powhatan@dcr.virginia.gov

Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. Please note that alcohol is not permitted at the park. Find more information about Goochland County's fireworks show HERE.
