Explore the mighty James River via canoe with your very own guide! The interpretive guide cover topics such as the history of the river, its aquatic inhabitants, and the local flora and fauna that call it home. Meet at the Dixon Landing Boat Ramp where you will be transported to Canoe Landing and float an easy two miles downstream back to Dixon Landing. Closed-toe shoes that can get wet are required. Space is limited to ten people per trip, so please sign up early by calling the Park Office at (434) 933-4355.
