Girls who participate in this program will join park staff and volunteers for our Birding in the Gap monthly series. Participants will walk around the grounds of the museum and along the greenbelt of the beautiful Powell River and identify birds that live along the greenbelt. This bird identification program will be held rain or shine.
Participants are asked to wear appropriate clothing for the weather and comfortable closed toe walking shoes. Binoculars are encouraged, but not required.
After the walk the girls will make bird feeders to take home. They may tour the museum for a historical adventure of what life was like in the late 1800's. Girl will earn two patches by participating in this program.
