Participants who are interested should meet at the front gate of the museum. We will walk around the museum grounds and along the beautiful greenbelt of the Powell River. Each month a different topic will be discussed; this month’s topic will be “Binoculars 101”. Participants will learn about the different types of binoculars, how to set up a new pair of binoculars as well as learning tips and tricks about using binoculars on your future birding adventures.
This monthly series will be held rain or shine. Participants are asked to wear appropriate clothing for the weather and comfortable walking shoes. Binoculars are encouraged but not required. Registration is not required. For more information about the "Birding in the Gap" monthly series, please contact the park at 276-523-1322.
