Learn the fundamentals of geocaching by participating on a guided hike. You’ll be introduced to the popular outdoor sport of geocaching while learning about the natural history of the area. A ranger will take you on a two-mile journey to search for hidden treasures. It will be necessary to learn a few plants and trees in order to reach the hidden destination. It is recommended that you log on to geocaching.com to download their geocaching phone app. This app will be used to search for the geocaches. If you prefer not to use a phone app, you are invited to use one of the park’s hiking GPS units. Please wear closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing for hiking slightly off trail.
