Step into the enchanting world of Widewater State Park and uncover the secrets of nature’s greatest inventors. From beavers to birds and plants, learn how these amazing creatures and flora inspire incredible human inventions. Through hands-on activities, guided walks, and creative projects, your child will embark on an unforgettable educational journey. 

Program 2: Plant Power: Secrets of the Forest Flora

Children will dive into the fascinating world of plants and their incredible survival strategies. This program focuses on how plants adapt to their environments and how these strategies inspire sustainable technologies. Activities include a scavenger hunt for different plant adaptations, creating nature journals, and experimenting with plant-inspired designs like water collection systems and self-cleaning surfaces.
