How do you give back to the land that surrounds and nurtures you? You are welcome to celebrate National Public Lands Day by cleaning up trails and picnic areas at Douthat State Park. The flora, fauna, and fellow park guests will all benefit from the removal of plastics and other trash from our environment. Bring along your friends and family; everyone gets free entry into the park!
If you pick up more than 20 pieces of trash and show Park Office staff, you will be awarded a small prize (while supplies last) for your help in keeping our park clean. Thank you!
