Join us for a special holiday program that explores how soldiers during the Civil War experienced Christmas on the front lines and in camp. Step back in time as we recreate the sights, sounds, and stories of a soldier’s life during the holiday season. From sparse rations and makeshift decorations to letters home and camaraderie around the campfire, you’ll discover how soldiers celebrated Christmas far from home. This immersive event will offer insight into both the hardships and the hope that defined the holiday season for those serving during the Civil War.
