When
Oct. 9, 2024. 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to see the comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, a ball of ice and dust that is only visible from earth once every 80,000 years. This comet will vanish into the void of space as fast as it appears, but the stars may slowly fade away as light pollution increases. Join us to learn how light pollution affects stargazing and wildlife; kids can enjoy a craft where they make their own constellations to tell a unique story.
