Just as caterpillars grow and change, our Caterpillar Club programs are designed to help your little one grow and change. Each week, we will have you and your child(ren) exploring our natural world through a variety of seasonally appropriate, hands-on activities that will foster children's inborn sense of wonder and curiosity. These experiences are gauged towards early childhood (3-5 years old), but of course, all family members are welcome and encouraged to participate. Every program supports Virginia's Blocks for Early Learning.

Please dress for the weather. We are meeting at Shelter 1. It is the shelter next to the playground by the Aquatics Complex.

October 3 - Nighttime Pals: Figure out whoooo's calling outside at our bed time.
October 10 - Butterfly Storytime: Learn about the Monarch's fall migration with a guest Librarian
October 17 - Frightening Fungi: Spread some spores as we hunt for mushrooms.
October 24 - Secret Spider Society: Spider season is here and we are ready to investigate.
October 31 - Bat Storytime: Celebrate International Bat Week with a guest Librarian.
