Join our ranger on a nice stroll along our River Trail for National Take a Hike Day!
We will hike about one mile on easy, mostly flat terrain. As we hike, the ranger will discuss the history of the Shenandoah Valley and some fun facts about the river as well. A photo of the terrain is pictured below. The trail also has a few short, wooden bridges we will cross. One of the bridges is pictured below. This hike is meant to be ability-inclusive and will have an all-terrain wheelchair available for reservation.
