What hides in the Appalachian wilderness after dark? Is it just a bear, a raccoon? Or could it be the ever elusive Bigfoot or the famous Mothman? Join a ranger on a hike as the sun goes down and they tell the stories of Appalachian folklore passed down through generations. The hike is about 1-mile round trip with some elevation change and exposed roots. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. If you wish to bring a flashlight, we request that it has a red-light function.

Natural Tunnel State Park is proud to offer red/green colorblindness correcting outdoor glasses by EnChroma during all offered programming; three protan red sensitivity and three deutan green sensitivity are available for use during programs.
