Will you take up the bow and try your hand at the sport of archery? These programs are designed as introductory lessons for first time participants. Archery instructor Chief Ranger Hillborn will show you the basics of archery including finding your draw length, proper safety and shooting techniques, and more! All equipment is provided.

This program is $15/participant and includes all essential equipment. Participants must use park provided bows and arrows. 

The age requirement is 10+ years old. This 1.5 hour program is limited to 6 participants. Pre-payment and pre-registration is required for this program. You can register hereYou can pre-pay by calling the Visitor Center and paying over the phone, or coming in person prior to the day of the program.

Parents and guardians must remain with their children under 14 years old throughout the duration of the program.

On the date of the program, you must check in at the front desk inside the Visitor's Center where the ranger on duty will sign you in and direct you to where the program is being held. Make sure to wear weather appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes!
