Intro to Tree ID: Learn the fundamentals of tree identification. Download document below.
Park Scavenger Hunt: Put your detective skills to the test as you search for animals, plants, and other items found within the park. Download document below.
Junior Rangers: Earn a prize by participating in self-guided activities or attending scheduled park activities. Available at the Park Office.
Aquatic Trail: A self-paced paddle or walk around the lake. Each stop is accompanied by a brief paragraph about Bear Creek Lake's history and current state. Available at the Park Office.
Geocaching: Use a phone or a rent-able GPS unit to give geocaching a try. Available at the Park Office.
Common Birds of Central Virginia: A checklist of species commonly found at the park. This is not an all-inclusive list, so you may see some species that are not listed. Available at the Park Office.
