Join us as we explore the various flora of one of the most biodiverse places on the planet! Learn to identify plants and what makes them so special. Various historic uses of plants may be discussed. The hike will begin at 1 p.m., and will last about an hour. The distance will be between 1-2 miles on flat terrain.
All experience levels are welcome. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring water and food you may need. The trail surface is crushed stone and a gentle grade. Leashed pets are welcome. This program is weather dependent. Please check our event listing on the New River Trail website for cancellations.
Location: Please meet at the Dora Junction (not 116 Orphanage Dr.).
