Jan. 22, 2025. 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Designed to introduce young participants to the wonders of the natural world and foster an appreciation for the environment. The goal is to encourage curiosity, exploration, and understanding of the living and non-living things that make up the natural world. All ages are welcome; however, this program is geared toward kids ages 3-8.   Parents must stay with young naturalists. Each month will have a different theme.

January's theme is Winter weather, such as snow, ice, and clouds.

February's theme is Evergreens in Winter, and we will make pine cone bird feeders.

March's theme is Grow as We Go, a lesson on the life cycles of animals.

Reminder: a $10 parking fee is in effect, payable at the kiosk upon entering the park.

Meet at the Interpretive Center.
