As winter comes to an end, Virginia's earliest and most delicate woodland wildflowers begin to appear! Come enjoy these ephemeral blooms during their brief but brilliant display. You'll learn how to identify each unique species and understand the important role these tiny flowers play in the forest ecosystem.

The walk is about 1.5 miles long and at an easy pace. If you'd like to participate in identifying the flowers using an app, we recommend downloading the Seek app by iNaturalist.
