Join a Ranger to learn about science and nature at Leesylvania State Park! Please check the dates below for specific topics. This program is intended for children ages 10-17 years old. To reserve your spot please call the Visitor Center Monday-Friday at 703-583-6904. Payment is required at time of sign up. Rangers are prepared for rain or shine so dress for the weather. 

February 5 @ 1 p.m.:  Slime Making. Come be a scientist for the day with our park rangers.

February 12 @ 1 p.m.: Nature's Nursery: Learn how different animals care for their young.

February 19 @ 1 p.m.: Snakes: Join Rangers to learn about shedding, anatomy, diet, and more.

February 26 @ 1 p.m.: Park History: Participate in a guided museum tour and scavenger hunt with a ranger.
