Claytor Lake Festival & National Get Outside Day

Save the date for the annual Claytor Lake Festival. Enjoy entertainment, fireworks on the lake at dusk, arts and crafts, food vendors, wine tasting, a law enforcement display, car show, and more. In addition, it is also National Get Outside Day. Park Naturalists and Interpreters, Master Naturalists, and our Discovery Center will be open to stop by and talk about the natural world.

Festival Fees:
- Parking is $20/vehicle (discounted by $5 with a donation of five cans of food).
- Parking with a disabled plate/tag is $15/vehicle (discounted by $5 with a donation of five cans of food).
- Additional boat launch fee is $2.
- Annual parking passes get free admission.
- Swimming fees included.

Plan your visit in advance and allow for extra entry time into the park due to expected high visitation and traffic along State Park Road. Heavy foot traffic is likely inside the park so please navigate with caution. Due to expected high visitation, cellular service may be limited or unavailable. Admittance is not guaranteed if the park reaches maximum capacity.
