This special program is designed to introduce participants to the wonderful world of fossil finding at Westmoreland State Park. Participants will each have their own excavation toolkit where they can think like paleontologists--and unearth, record, and keep their findings.
All participants are guaranteed to find real life fossils found along the Potomac River within their toolkit. Rangers will be available to help identify each discovery.
There are limited spots (10) for this program. Please register, sign-up, and pay for your spot in-advance.
