During the winter, it can be difficult to tell trees apart. Join a ranger on a hike along Mason Neck’s accessible Dogue Trail and learn how to identify Virginia-native trees using different tree characteristics that are present during the winter season. This hike is a little under a mile along a gravel path. Be sure to wear proper footwear and dress for the weather. Meet at the trailhead for Dogue Trail.
