Groundhog Day puts groundhogs in the spotlight and makes for a perfect time to learn about these native residents of Mason Neck. Soon to emerge from hibernation and be seen throughout the park, you can explore their unique ecological role and gain a new appreciation for them. We will have a display with a groundhog pelt, skull, and fact sheets to spark your interest. Park rangers can then answer your questions.
