Join the park (and the world) in participating in the 27th annual Great Backyard Bird Count held Friday, February 16, through Monday, February 19, 2024. This event is a free, fun, and easy way to help scientists from the Audubon Society, The Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and Bird Studies of Canada while being right in your backyard no matter your birding experience! Natural Tunnel State Park will host multiple birding programs through the weekend.

Who is that calling to you in the night? Discover the different owl species that call the park home. Let's see if we can talk their language and try to call some owls in. Will they talk back?

Natural Tunnel State Park is proud to offer red/green colorblindness correcting outdoor glasses by EnChroma during all offered programming; three protan red sensitivity and three deutan green sensitivity are available for use during programs.
