June 7, 2025. 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Join us for National Trails Day as we cleanup our trials. Saturday June 7th, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. We will need volunteers to help with trash pickup, trail trimming, and debris removal.  Park staff will be available at Picnic Shelter #1 to hand out buckets, trash grabbers, gloves and trail maps. 

 Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Make sure to bring water and sunscreen.

About National Trails Day

On the first Saturday of June, Virginia State Parks celebrates National Trails Day, an annual event encouraging outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels to explore hiking, biking and equestrian trails. Virginia’s 43 state parks offer guided hikes, trail maintenance workshops and volunteer opportunities to highlight trail stewardship and the importance of preserving trails for future generations.
