March 8, 2025. 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Indigenous history of Virginia is exciting, captivating and challenging to learn about. Oral histories were scattered by colonization, leaving the written and published accounts of colonists to be some of the only well-known accounts that remain today. Come and join us for a Ranger led hike to learn about the context of those accounts, the challenges faced by archaeology and how Indigenous culture persists today. Recommended for participants ages 12+.

Open Air Interpretive Pavilion

We strive to make our programming and special event opportunities accessible and inclusive to all.
