Open fires are prohibited throughout the park from midnight to 4 p.m., beginning Feb. 15 through April 30, per the 4 p.m. Burning Law. This includes wood and charcoal. Gas is permissible. Campground fires are allowed during the restricted time if a camp host is on duty and signage to that effect is posted in the campground. Failure to observe the 4 p.m. Burning Law can result in a fine. Contact the Park Office for additional information.

Topics:
MARCH 05 (10 a.m.): "Backyard Bingo" - Each participant will get a bingo card at the start of the hike, on which is a list of common natural items. You'll have to pay close attention to your surroundings if you want to find enough items to get bingo!
MARCH 05 (11 a.m.): "Hot Off the Press" - Travel through time on this scavenger hunt. In celebration of the park's history, we'll be digging through the Camp Gallion Dispatch (the newspaper written by the young men of the Civilian Conservation Corps) to find silly stories, funny drawings, and other interesting things.
