Flag Day is a celebration of the American flag that occurs each year on the anniversary of the flag’s official adoption, June 14. What we know fondly as the “Stars and Stripes” was adopted by the Continental Congress as the official American flag in 1777, in the midst of the Revolutionary War. Since then, there have been several iterations of the flag as our country has changed and grown.
How much do you know about the flag? What does the flag mean to you? Join park rangers at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 14, 2025 as we explore and celebrate the story of the U.S. Flag! We’ll also discuss the proper etiquette for its treatment and display and learn a little flag trivia as well! Please join us!
