We're closing out this season's Winter Lecture Series with a fascinating program on bats. Master Naturalist Bonnie Miles will uncover the mystery surrounding these nocturnal creatures and explain why they are such an important part of our environment. Discover the threats that are causing declining populations in many of our bat species and find out how you can help them survive.

The Winter Lecture Series is presented by the Friends of Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Proceeds go to help fund educational programs and projects in the park. Dates for the 2025 Winter Lecture series include January 5, February 2, March 2, and April 13.

Ticket Prices: Single ticket: $10, Season ticket: $30
Friends of SMLSP Member: Single ticket: $8, Season ticket: $24
