How would you stand in competition with the wildlife of Virginia? Each animal has a special adaptation making them some of the most elite athletes in the world. Stop by to compare your athletic abilities with our animal friends. You might even receive a tree cookie medal for your skills. Suitable for all ages.
Natural Tunnel State Park is proud to offer red/green colorblindness correcting outdoor glasses by EnChroma during all offered programming; three protan red sensitivity and three deutan green sensitivity are available for use during programs.

About National Kids to Parks Day
Virginia State Parks celebrates National Kids to Parks Day on the third Saturday in May by offering a variety of fun, family-friendly activities, from nature scavenger hunts and ranger-led hikes to fishing clinics and flora and fauna wagon rides. This annual event encourages kids to explore the outdoors while learning about wildlife and engaging in hands-on environmental education.
