Come and join us for our monthly Trail Workday in celebration of National Trails Day.
Staff and volunteers will work together to maintain our current trails, with the goal of clearing back overgrowth and keeping the path accessible to hikers.
We plan on clearing brush, moving logs, trimming the corridor, and picking up debris.
Trail workdays can be an excellent way to get involved within the outdoors and make a difference in your community!

About National Trails Day
On the first Saturday of June, Virginia State Parks celebrates National Trails Day, an annual event encouraging outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels to explore hiking, biking and equestrian trails. Virginia’s 43 state parks offer guided hikes, trail maintenance workshops and volunteer opportunities to highlight trail stewardship and the importance of preserving trails for future generations.
