Vernal pools are temporary bodies of water necessary for some animals to survive. Master Naturalists will lead this walk up to Legacy Loop Trail to discover these small pools of water and their inhabitants. This 3-4 mile walk will take us over uneven terrain and possible muddy areas. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a water bottle. Meet your leaders at the main parking lot near the pollinator garden.
