Join a ranger on a guided hike for Earth Day! Come enjoy the beautiful clinch river and our forests and trails. Earth Day is a great way to show your appreciation for nature and what it provides for living things. So come join us for a fun and relaxing hike. Please wear close toed shoes and bring water. If weather permits this event will be rescheduled. Meeting for this event will be at the Sugar Hill Trail Head in St. Paul, Virginia. We hope to see you there!

In celebration of Earth Day on April 22, Virginia State Parks offers a range of special events and activities highlighting the importance of conservation and sustainability. Visitors are invited to participate in educational programs, guided nature walks, wildlife observation, tree plantings and service projects to help preserve the beauty and biodiversity of the state’s 43 parks.
