The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park is excited to announce the 2025 Junior Ranger Camp! Youth who participate in this year’s camp will not only learn about the park but will also discover what conservation is and what it entails, learn 18th century history, fire-making, animal tracking, archery and all about the different types of camping. Other activities will include a scavenger hunt, crafts, trivia, fun games and more.

The camp will begin on Monday, July 7 and will run through Friday, July 11, from 9 a.m. until noon, and will serve students ages 7 to 12.

The fee for the camp is $35 per child. This fee includes a t-shirt and snack each day. Registration is required by 4 p.m. on Friday, July 4.
