When

March 30, 2025. 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Mason Neck is one of the most famous sites to see bald eagles in Northern Virginia, and for good reason with over 60 year-round resident eagles and 18 nests throughout the park. Overlooking the Belmont Bay, the visitor center is one of the best spots to search for bald eagles hunting fish and soaring majestically through the sky, so stop by and search for eagles along with our park rangers. Together we'll look for some of the many bald eagles that call Mason Neck their home, as well as learn more about the lives of eagles, conservation efforts, and the history of Mason Neck as an eagle sanctuary.
