Join us at the Sailor’s Creek Battlefield Historical State Park Visitor Center on Saturday, December 5th and Sunday December 6th at 1:00 p.m. for a compelling presentation on the pivotal presidential election of 1864. As the nation stood divided by war, voters faced a defining choice between Abraham Lincoln and George B. McClellan, one that would determine the course of the conflict. This program examines the political stakes, the military backdrop, and the power of public opinion in a nation at war.
