Have you ever heard of a pawpaw? Join us for a walk into Seven Bend's pawpaw patch to learn how to identify and forage this tasty native fruit! Jack Monsted, the native plant expert from the State Arboretum of Virginia will lead this walk and share information about the pawpaw tree's biology, ecology, and various culinary uses. He will also demonstrate sustainable wild-harvesting methods so you can enjoy Virginia's largest (and tastiest) native fruit yourself!

All Virginia State Park regulations will be adhered to during this program.

*There is no fee for this program, but an annual or daily parking pass is required.
