"A track is a window to the past of an animal. Look at the ground as if it were a manuscript of the animal’s life." --Tom Brown
In the cold stillness of Winter, the forest may seem empty, but the woods are still very much alive. A bird song in the quiet, animal tracks in the snow, and hidden homes are signs of life in the frozen landscape. In the final month of Winter, homeschoolers will learn how to find signs of animals in the park when all else seems to still be asleep.
