Fairy House Hike

Where
Program Location: Clyburn Ridge Trailhead
Main Park Address: Hungry Mother State Park, 2854 Park Blvd., Marion, VA 24354.
When
June 6, 2026. 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
The woods are a magical place anytime of the year. Hike with a ranger on the Clyburn Hollow Trail and discover possible home sites for fairies and imps in these magical woods. Sit for a spell and create your own fairy house. Come back on a later date and find out if a fairy has moved in! This will be a gentle hike, no more than one mile, as we look for possible fairy house materials along the way. Bring water and snacks.
