Come see us for a general overview of the service of United States Colored Troops in the final operations of the Civil War. This program highlights their movement, responsibilities, and challenges during the Appomattox Campaign and discusses their contributions to the Union victory. Visitors will gain an understanding of how these soldiers shaped the closing days of the conflict. Speak to a ranger in the Visitor Center to start this program anytime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
