Frogs calling are a true sign of spring.

Frogs and toads rely on water from places like ponds and wetlands to lay their eggs, and many species never stray far from a body of water. They also can't survive in polluted water, making them an important indication of water quality. Join a ranger as we explore Long Pond and the Holly Marsh wetland searching for these important indicators of spring and a healthy ecosystem.

Clean, closed-toed shoes are required for this program, and be sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing. It is also recommended to wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty in.
