Ever wonder where rainwater goes after it hits the ground? Or how pollution travels through our environment? In celebration of World Water Day, join us for an interactive Enviroscape demonstration and see the answers come to life!
Using a hands-on watershed model, we’ll explore how water moves across land, into rivers, lakes, and oceans, and how human activities impact water quality. You’ll learn about runoff, erosion, and pollution in a fun, visual way, and discover simple steps we can all take to protect our waterways. This program makes big environmental concepts easy to understand and exciting to experience!
Please meet at the Visitor Center. All materials provided. Suitable for all ages. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and bring a water bottle with you. Parks are for everyone, please let us know if you need special accommodation.
