Hungry Mother Trail Cleanup

Where
Program Location: Beach
Main Park Address: Hungry Mother State Park, 2854 Park Blvd., Marion, VA 24354.
When
June 6, 2026. 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Grab a carload of friends and take a drive to Hungry Mother and give back to your local community. The rangers have been out cleaning up the trails and could use some help! Decide on a trail you and/or your group would like to clean and then contact erin.persinger@dcr.virginia.gov or call 276-781-7415 and ask for Erin to register to help maintain our gorgeous trails by picking up trash or "sweeping" a trail. This would give you have a chance to not only enjoy being outdoors, but a chance to keep Hungry Mother clean and get in free for the day since you are volunteering.
