Just as caterpillars grow and change, our Caterpillar Club programs are designed to help your little one grow and change. Each week, we will have you and your child(ren) exploring our natural world through a variety of seasonally appropriate, hands-on activities that will foster children's inborn sense of wonder and curiosity. These experiences are gauged towards early childhood (3-5 years old), but of course, all family members are welcome and encouraged to participate. Every program supports Virginia's Blocks for Early Learning. Please dress for the weather.

April 2 - Build-A-Beaver: Celebrate International Beaver Day a little early and learn more about these aquatic superheroes.
April 9 - Spider Web Wonders: Discover the fascinating world of spiders.
April 16 - Wee Love the Earth: Join staff from Central Virginia Waste Management Authority to learn ways we can help the Earth.
April 23 - Garden Clean Up Day: Help our gardeners with new plantings around the Visitor Center. Meet at the Visitor Center.
April 30 - Boastin' About Compostin': Discover easy was we can compost our leftovers on National Stop Food Waste Day.
