Come join the fun. Park staff and volunteers are excited to join Girls Who Hike Virginia (GWHVA) on a beautiful hike around the Greenbelt Walking Trail along the Powell River. Participants will meet at the museum’s front gate before starting this easy, moderate accessible hike around the greenbelt. This hike is a perfect opportunity to enjoy nature and enjoy the refreshing spring air while hiking with other women who enjoy the outdoors.

Girls Who Hike Virginia (GWHVA) is all about creating a welcoming outdoor community for women+ across the state. What started as a simple Facebook group has grown into a vibrant family of over 31,000 members in nine regions. They host group hikes, exciting challenges, and educational workshops to help you connect, learn, and explore the beauty of Virginia together. Ready for your next adventure? Visit GWHVA.org.

The walk will be held rain or shine, so please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. No registration is necessary.
