Join us in an Earth Week discussion while making earth crafts. We will gather at the Campfire Circle to express our creativity and our care for the earth. We would love to have you join us, even if you don't want to make a craft. We will also exchange native plant seeds, but don't worry if you don't have any; we have plenty to share. If you want, you can also join us afterwards for our nearby Pollinator Garden Clean-Up.
About Earth Day
In celebration of Earth Day on April 22, Virginia State Parks offers a range of special events and activities highlighting the importance of conservation and sustainability. Visitors are invited to participate in educational programs, guided nature walks, wildlife observation, tree plantings and service projects to help preserve the beauty and biodiversity of the state’s 44 parks.
