During this festive hands-on experience, you’ll help crank a historic hand-powered ice cream maker to create flavors inspired by the early days of our nation. Using simple ingredients and methods familiar to 18th-century Americans, you’ll discover how ice cream was crafted long before electricity and modern kitchens. As you churn, learn about the origins of this cherished dessert and how colonial families enjoyed cool, sweet treats during special occasions. Join us in honoring the USA’s 250th anniversary with a delicious trip back in time - don't worry, you'll get to taste them too!
